I’m Markisha, a Florida-licensed Real Estate Agent and Acquisitions Specialist with Graystone Real Estate LLC. While real estate is my profession, I’ve always had a genuine love for the world of real estate investing, entrepreneurship, and building wealth through property.

I’m originally from the Bronx, New York, and I’m the oldest of eight children. Growing up in a big family taught me responsibility, resilience, leadership, and—most importantly—the importance of looking out for the people around me.

Today, I’m also a mom of two and a corrections officer, two roles that have shaped me in completely different but equally important ways. Working in corrections has taught me to value structure, discipline, accountability, and staying calm under pressure. Those qualities follow me into everything I do.

And then there’s my biggest supporter—my husband. ❤️

I actually met my husband while working as a manager at Applebee’s. He has been one of the people who has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and ambitions, and his support has given me the confidence to keep pushing toward the future I envision for myself and my family.

That means I don't have to try to figure everything out alone.

We can bounce ideas off each other, strategize together, and approach challenges from different perspectives. Having that kind of support behind me gives me confidence that I can provide my clients with the level of service I would want someone to provide to my own mother.
